Charlotte-Based Auteur Vison Announces Production Start for New Feature Film
“Missed Transactions”
CHARLOTTE, NC — Auteur Vison LLC has announced the upcoming start of production for its new
dramatic feature film, *Missed Transactions*, set to begin filming in the Charlotte metro area in early
2026. The project marks the second feature film directed by Charlotte filmmaker Terrance McLeod,
following his acclaimed 2025 romantic drama "“A Season for Love”.
Led by local talent Jamel Flowers and Tasha Hurst, “Missed Transactions” features a strong
Charlotte-based ensemble that includes Nasha Shandri, Johnathan Bonds, and Marty Stroupe in key
supporting roles. The film continues Auteur Vison’s commitment to showcasing homegrown talent and
bringing independent film production opportunities to the region.
“Missed Transactions” explores the emotional complexities of modern relationships, focusing on the
subtle moments, missed signals, and unresolved histories that shape the way people love. Filmed
entirely in Charlotte, the project will highlight recognizable neighborhoods and small businesses
throughout the metro area.
“Charlotte’s creative community is thriving, and this film is another opportunity to elevate the incredible
talent we have right here at home,” said writer-director Terrance McLeod. “Missed Transactions is a
story rooted in emotional truth and intimacy, and our cast brings a level of authenticity that makes this a
distinctly Charlotte film.”
The film is currently in pre-production with principal photography scheduled for early 2026. Casting for
select supporting and background roles will be announced at a later date. Upon completion, Auteur
Vison plans to debut the film through regional screenings, festival submissions, and local community
partnerships.
